From 2018 to 2022, I worked as a lifeguard and swim teacher at my local YMCA in Wallingford. During this time, I not only ensured the safety of swimmers and taught individuals of all ages how to swim, but I also developed strong relationships with the community. In 2021, recognizing my dedication and understanding of the YMCA's mission, the marketing department reached out to me with an exciting opportunity. They asked me to manage their social media accounts, a role in which I was responsible for creating engaging content, increasing online engagement, and promoting the YMCA's programs and events. This experience allowed me to combine my passion for swimming and community service with my interest in digital marketing, further enhancing my professional skill set.
